Our Mission
Bole & Branch Urban Forest Consulting began with one goal in mind: to provide unbiased, professional, and science-based tree consulting services to help Chicagoland tree owners realize and maximize the benefits that trees provide to their properties, and the community as a whole, while mitigating their potential risks now and in the future.​

Our Services
We specialize in tree assessment and management from bole to branch for properties small and large including residential and commercial properties, golf courses, parks, and campuses in the Chicagoland area. Services include individual tree health and risk assessments, pest and disease diagnosis, tree preservation and monitoring plans, municipal ordinance analyses, third-party reviews of tree removal permit applications, and arborist reports.
A General Tree Assessment is a visual assessment of your tree and is used to assess tree health and condition, pest infestations, and disease signs/symptom identification. These assessments are often used as a filter to identify trees that should receive a more thorough assessment, such as a “Level 2” Tree Risk Assessment.

Once assessed, you'll be provided with a report of the findings along with mitigation and/or treatment options to improve tree vigor and keep it thriving.
Your Tree Guy
Brandon Naser, Founder and Forester
Brandon has over 15 years of experience in the field of urban forestry and arboriculture that spans both the private and public sector holding roles such as tree health care specialist, utility forester, and municipal forester. He is a Certified Arborist, Utility Specialist, and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified by the International Society of Arboriculture. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources with a focus on urban forestry from Oregon State University and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Illinois University.
Brandon is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, Illinois Arborist Association and, since 2015, has served on the Chicago Region Trees Initiative’s (CRTI) Tree Risk Assessment and Trees and Green Infrastructure work groups alongside many talented and knowledgeable industry professionals. During his time serving on these groups, he assisted in the development of CRTI’s Tree Preservation Ordinance Templates, Tree Risk Toolkit, Urban Forestry Basic Training course, and Master Plan 2050.
